GigaAI was founded in Beijing in June 2023 by Tsinghua PhD Huang Guan, positioned as the OpenAI of the physical world. Products span the GigaWorld embodied world model series (GigaWorld-1 topped WorldArena globally at 62.34 and is fully open-sourced), the GigaBrain embodied brain series (51.67% success on RoboChallenge, No.1 globally), the Maker H01 general robot body (volume delivery began January 2026), and the SeeLight home humanoid sub-brand; the DriveDreamer autonomous driving world model serves 30+ leading automakers. Commercially it works with FAW Tooling and Alibaba Cloud on industrial scenarios, and plans to deploy 1,000 general robots with Longsheng Technology over three years (the world's first thousand-unit-scale industrial deployment of general robots driven by physical intelligence foundation models). From March to June 2026 it completed Pre-B, B1, and B2 rounds totaling RMB 3.5B, over RMB 4B cumulatively, with valuation above RMB 10B - China's first world-model unicorn above RMB 10B; it received a strategic investment from Huawei Hubble in November 2025.

Technical Approach

World model x embodied brain route: a dual-pyramid system driven by a five-layer data pyramid (real-robot / simulation-synthetic / human / internet video data) and a three-layer algorithm pyramid (world simulation, action alignment, experience reinforcement), targeting 10-100x efficiency gains. A 12-month roadmap for physical AGI foundation models: GigaBrain-1 (Q3 2026), then GigaBrain-2 accelerating scaling, and GigaBrain-3 aiming for the GPT-3 moment of physical AGI.
