About
LimX Dynamics was founded in Shenzhen in 2022; the founding team comes from UC Berkeley, CMU, Tsinghua and HIT, and founder/CEO Zhang Wei previously headed robotics and autonomous driving at Alibaba's DAMO Academy. The company was first to define a new-generation embodied AI architecture characterized by 'foundation models + general agents' (System 0 whole-body locomotion → System 1 humanoid VLA/WAM → System 2 embodied agent OS COSA), and launched the full-size general humanoid LimX Oli (from RMB 158,000), the full-size interactive humanoid LimX Luna (the world's first mass-producible full-size female humanoid, RMB 298,000), the multi-form embodied robot TRON series and the embodied Agentic OS. In H1 2026 it completed a ~$200M Series B and a ~$200M Pre-IPO round in succession — about $400M in six months — with a RMB 15B post-money valuation, advancing toward a HKEX IPO. Technical Approach
