Wujie Power was founded in 2025 in Haidian, Beijing, jointly established by Zhang Yufeng (founder and CEO), former president of Horizon Robotics' intelligent driving business unit, and Xia Zhongpu (co-founder and co-CTO), former leader of Li Auto's end-to-end algorithms. The company builds robot 'general brains' (MWA) on a core technical route of latent-space world models plus reinforcement learning. Distinct from the mainstream VLA-plus-real-robot-data route, it uses latent-space physical modeling to reduce data dependence and improve generalization; it has self-developed a 1,100 TOPS compute platform, and its second-generation robot body, the K15, has entered volume production. Commercialization is moving fast: in June 2026 it signed an over RMB 500M global order with Envision Group (the largest single commercial contract for Chinese embodied AI going overseas to date); together with ZF LIFETEC, Oumowei Group, and a chain coffee brand, total orders approach $100M. Within a year of founding it completed its full angel round series (over $200M cumulative) and is closing a nearly $200M Pre-A, backed by HongShan, Linear, Hillhouse, JD.com-affiliated funds, Envision, and other capital, transitioning from a fundraising narrative to a global delivery phase.

Technical Approach

Builds a general embodied brain (MWA) on a latent-space world model plus reinforcement learning paradigm, distinct from the mainstream VLA-plus-real-robot-data route, reducing data dependence and improving generalization through latent-space physical modeling.
